Our Patients

How can we help you?

CSL Behring is committed to helping to improving the quality of life for patients with rare diseases, including:

Congenital fibrinogen deficiency

Where an essential protein required for a blood clot to form is either missing, significantly reduced or dysfunctional.

Haemolytic disease of the foetus and newborn (HDFN)

A severe form of anaemia caused when the blood group of the mother and baby are not compatible.

Haemophilia

A problem with the blood where there is not enough of one of the clotting factors needed for clots to form.

Hereditary angioedema (HAE)

A rare genetic condition that can cause considerable swelling in various body tissues.

Immune deficiency disorders

Where one or more components of the immune system are either missing or not working properly.

Neurological disorders

Diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system, e.g. the brain, spinal cord, crania nerves, peripheral nerves, nerve roots, automatic nervous system, neuromuscular junction and muscles.

Rapid anticoagulant reversal

Anticoagulants are medicines that thin the blood and are used to reduce the risk of blood clots. When a person on anticoagulant therapy experiences a bleeding episode, it may be necessary to reverse the effects of the anticoagulant to stop the bleeding.

Von Willebrand disease

A problem with one of the clotting factors in the blood; this particular clotting factor is known as von Willebrand factor.
