Donations to UK Patient Groups

CSL Behring is a global leader in the plasma protein biotherapeutics industry. Passionate about improving the quality of patients’ lives, CSL Behring manufactures and markets a range of effective plasma-derived and recombinant products and related services. The company’s therapies are used in the treatment of rare diseases such as immune deficiency disorders, haemophilia, von Willebrand disease and other bleeding disorders. Other products are used for the prevention of haemolytic diseases in the newborn.

CSL Behring UK Ltd works closely with several UK patient groups to reinforce the support they offer patients and their families. The company has made donations to two key patient groups specifically in the past year:

• The Primary Immunodeficiency Association (PiA)
  The PiA supports people living with Primary Immunodeficiencies. CSL Behring has donated to the PiA to help fund projects on patient resource and research into service provision.


• The Haemophilia Society
  The Haemophilia Society is the only national and independent organisation for all people affected by bleeding disorders. CSL Behring has donated to the Haemophilia Society to help fund its 'Women that Bleed' project, with specific focus on producing patient material.
